We want your visit to Carolina Skin Centre & Salon to be completely relexing and enjoyable. Here are a few tips:
We make every effort to remind you of your appointment prior to your scheduled date. We understand that special circumstances are unavoidable and that a cancellation or rescheduling of your appointment may be necessary. However, you must inform us if you're unable to keep your appointment at least 24 hours prior to its scheduled date and time. If you cancel or change your scheduled appointment without 24 hours notice, a $25 fee will be charged per service scheduled. If you fail to keep your scheduled appointment without providing us with any notice, we reserve the right to charge you the entire cost of the appointment. If scheduling a service longer than one hour in length, or multiple services, we require 48 HOURS notice of cancellation and a valid credit or gift card number on file for purpose of guaranteeing your appointment. If the 48 hour policy is not honered you will be charged 50% of total services. If the appointment is not kept and notice was not provided you will be charged the ENTIRE COST of appointment.
Medical & Health Conditions
To better serve you please let your therapist know if you have any of the following conditions: pregnancy, muscle or joint injuries, heart condition, high/low blood pressure, diabetes, fever, contagious skin condition, or any other medical issues.
Also infrom your therapist if you are using Retin-A, Accutane, or any photosensitizing or keratolytic medications, or have recently had laser or plastic surgery. Any of the above scenarios may affect our ability to treat you.
To ensure a serene and relaxing experience for all of our guests, we kindly ask that you turn off your cell phone or pager upon arrival at the spa.
Your health and comfort is important to us. We request that no alcohol beverages be consumed 12 hours prior to receiving your spa treatment. Most of our treatments are detoxifing and could intensify the effects of alcohol.
Please arrive a minimum of 20 minutes prior to your appointment to allow ample time to check-in, change and enjoy a complementary steam shower. Appointments starting late due to a guest's tardiness will finish on time in order to uphold the next guest's appointment. A spa robe and slippers will be provided for your spa experience.
Due to insurance reasons, children are not permitted in the salon unless scheduled for an appointment.
Gift ceritficates are non-refundable and expire one year from date of purchase.
We are more than happy to accomodate groups (2 or more) with a relaxing day at the spa! When scheduling a group reservation, a valid credit card or gift card with sufficient funds to cover the cost of the entire appointment is required to guarantee the appointment. Cancellations or changes to the scheduled appointment require a 48 hours notice. Failure to provide the required notice will result in 50% of the total cost of the group reservation to be charged to card on file. If you fail to keep the appointment without any notice, we reserve the right to charge the card on file for the full amount of the reservation.
